I love everything pvz and have been playing the original since it was new. That being said, this version sucks. They force you to use certain cards for certain heros, meaning you don't actually get to make your own decks. The illusion of choice is very frustrating. It seems like the only way to get new cards is to grind for a ridiculously long time, or buy them, and its expensive. Now it glitches so bad it restarts my phone and makes a terrible noise. Getting rid of it before it breaks my phone.

Cool ideas are on display here. If it weren't for the terrible progression system, matchmaking, rng mechanics and some of the worst balancing I've ever seen in my life, it might even be good. The outcome of games is not determined by skill, but a combination of who had the better starting hand and who drew better cards. The campaign started as a good way to avoid multiplayer, but the levels just ballooned into nightmares of rng. If I could describe the game in one word it would be "irritating".

I've been playing this game for almost a decade. The plant and zombie heroes only have 200 levels each. After you finish, you can play random levels, but there's no option to go back and try and play through the maps again. I like the daily challenges and the multi-player options, but there are 2 heroes at the end that are nearly impossible to unlock. After you've unlocked every other hero, they have options to buy packs, saying that you'd unlock a new hero or quests. It doesn't work.
