VERY OFTEN the subtitles on foreign language movies and episodes/series (especially) don't sync AT ALL with the dialogue / events of the show. This is EXTREMELY prevalent on Crunchyroll! Also, when exiting the media player app (early), show progress oftentimes does not save properly. PLEASE fix these issues as they have been going on for years!

Too many ads. Watching a 1 hour show, there's 6 - 8 minutes of ads, maybe more, any more I usually look at another device during the ads. Also, if the phone falls asleep during the movie (or maybe the movie is paused while I take a call), when you resume the movie, many times the app restarts it back at the beginning - complete with some ads of course...

The addition of unskippable ads in a paid service will always be a point of contention for me. They're not offering an "upgrade" to ad-free. They simply downgraded what you're paying for and are now asking for you to pay more for what you had previously. Even after upgrading to the ad-free plan guess what? They still give you ads. They're just able to be skipped now.
