About this game

This game was developed by real-world air traffic controllers! It's designed to be fun and highly realistic.

Be an air traffic controller at Los Angeles International Airport, Boston Logan, LaGuardia, Toronto Island, Vancouver Harbour float plane base, Jamaica, and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan. Airport Madness 3D also includes a forest fire fighting operation at Castlegar.

There is a choice of four different view perspectives: tower view, runway view, sky view, and pilot view. In this version, we include two radar screens: one for airborne traffic and one for ground traffic.

Aircraft flight characteristics are highly realistic. Aircraft actually raise their nose during the takeoff rotation and during the landing flare, just like they do in real life. Part of what makes Airport Madness fun is the high speed at which things happen. In real life, things happen much slower.

For seven years, we've been telling game players that Airport Madness is a game, not a simulation. While Airport Madness 3D offers a decent level of realism, we are mainly trying to make this game fun. We are using real earth data for mountains and surrounding landscape, as seen in the images, but our airports were built by us from scratch.

We've worked hard to compare our game to that of 3D simulations that are currently for sale elsewhere, and what we feel everybody wants is a game that's easy to play, is lots of fun, and highly addictive.

It's an overall fun game but has a couple things I'd like to see fixed. First is the traffic rate. Even on the lowest setting the traffic rate can get a little hectic. Second is the ability to purchase new airports. I bought LAX with no problems but since then whenever I try to buy a new airport it won't load anything when I tap the purchase button.

The latest update has ruined the game. Planes don't stop at the gates and continue to roll past, off the taxi way and into the water. Some of the terminals can't be accessed and planes park at the apron entrance even though there are empty gates that can be used. At the moment it's not worth playing, before the latest update it was great. Issues fixed 16/3/25, back to being great again 😁

I like the update, but is there something missing in the update? Deleted emergencies? Bro, it's not like I can't handle emergencies, and there's some glitch we're I picked that runway but won't let me like for example I picked Runway 30 in Kingston, Jamaica airport but when I tap/click on the plane it says "RUNWAY 12"! FIX IT NOW!!! ADD BACK THE EMERGENCIES!!!
