I've used this app for a few years now and it's been immensely helpful with memorizing whatever you can digitally write on a flashcards. I primarily use it for memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules in foreign languages but I could see it easily being used for anything you would want to memorize long term. Would recommend anyone studying to at least consider this as an option.

Simply the best tool out there to help you lock things into your fragile human memory-meat. Takes a little bit of learning to understand how to properly create cards, but it's worth it. Definitely learn how to create your own decks, although many of the shared decks are good starting points, because the power of this method is using it to focus on the specific things that YOU are having trouble remembering. Get it! Use it! Remember things!

This app is extremely complicated and the interface, unintuitive, but once you spend three years getting over the learning curve, it works very well. Also, sadly, Anki routinely deletes beautiful user-made decks from the Anki website, instead of adding server storage space to accommodate them. That said, I am grateful that Anki is at least available for us to use, and that the development team is constantly at work to make it better.
