I played this game since the day it was released, first on my computer, now on my Android! I couldn't be more satisfied with how similar the gameplay is, but, there are some drawbacks, when in battle mode, I am unable to align individual troop formations the way I specifically want them to be, when viewing the actual gameplay, I'm unable to see roads and the trade traffic between settlements and currently I am having multiple crashes when trying to combine troops after battle to full strength.

unfortunately had to change my review form 4 stars, played this game for years and I'm guessing from a recent update the game play is now super frustrating, it's becoming extremely hard to move armies and ships long distances on maps, the map keeps scrolling, combining units causes a crash, minot things like roads disappearing on the map once you come back from a crash. really enjoyed this game, hopefully it gets corrected.

it's a great game, has all the total war feels to it. controls are simple and intuitive. the only complaint I have is that after the update, unit indicators blend into the ground making it hard to tell the shape of your unit formations as you deploy. everything else is a dream come true for people who are obsessed with rome and it's history.
