GENBOLT CAM

Push alerts from app are delayed and very inconsistent, the app wont wake my phone to tell me there's someone at the door, I get email alerts every time but they are delayed by around 30 seconds while it uploads the images so is understandable, Genbolt is the only app I have that doesn't wake up my screen with a push and it may be the most important app to be reliable /:

Was a decent app until it started demanding registration in July 2024. Update Nov'24: Looks like each camera now belongs to a single registered user, so you can't add it to another user's device without explicitly sharing (giving their email address). But the sharing submission fails! All looks like an email harvesting exercise.

These "security" cameras are useless as the ability to quickly and reliably view them through the app doesn't exist. Never once of me opening the app have both cameras purchased from genbolt been available and online for me view. Pathetic *** As per my original review, I am willing to change my negative stance if for example, a patch or update fixes the issue mentioned in original statement. Interested to see if the GENBOLT brand will get a lifelong customer out of me for future purchases.
