BimmerCode allows you to code the control units in your BMW or MINI to unlock hidden features and customize your car to your liking.
Activate the digital speed display in the instrument cluster or allow your passengers to watch videos while driving in the iDrive system. Do you want to disable the Auto Start/Stop function or the Active Sound Design? You will be able to code this and much more by yourself with the BimmerCode app.

Great app. Easy to use. My ONLY issue is that expert mode, to me, is like having direct admin access to ur car's modules, except that it's 100% in German. I did email the developer and they said basically what I just said. But absolutely worth the money! Pays for itself after one time of coding. I did a search after thinking bout it but there are screen translators and that actually helped a bit with expert mode, just to peak around. I wouldn't recommend expert mode unless u know what ur doing

Really, all cars should have the ability to be coded to some degree. In this case, I've been able to code a couple of items that helps me to customize and further enjoy my in-cabin driving experience. Understanding the menu of coding options is intuitive. As well, there are many YouTube videos about things that can be done. At $60 for this tool plus the one-time "enrollment" fee, it is a solid investment. I only wished that Bimmercode would publish some unique Expert Mode tutorials.

I paid for a full subscription in 2019, and was told that it could be used anytime thereafter. I attempted to use it again recently with the same credentials as before, but I'm being instructed to pay full price (again), which is now $10 more. Customer support only responds with instructions on how to reinstall the app claiming it would then work, but it won't. Proper customer service would have been to a have a record of the purchased subscription on their end, to assist and resolve this issue.
