Generally, it's been a good app until recently. When booking to the Frankfurt Airport a couple months out, 3 of 4 legs there or back have been "canceled" (according to the app anyway). However, the originally booked train isnstill shown as available online. In two cases, the app not so helpfully booked me on a later train. Having to go talk to somebody at a station is annoying and getting old.

A lot of great stuff! Built in tickets and it's excellent at finding a route. The let down is the mediocre UX. The worst offender is a lack of indication for suggested routes that aren't valid with a Deutschland Karte, I nearly got fined because I followed a train suggestion. When purchasing a ticket, it keeps resetting inputs when switching app to copy paste card details. Lastly searching for routes doesn't have an option always start at my current location and time.

Unprecise information, not showing info in real-time, slow, etc. When, for example, standing at the station, it might well happen that you get three different times of departure for the same connection: One from the app, one from the Display, and one from announcements. Though this is probably more of a problem from the DB IT system in whole, other than the app itself, it also makes the app not only unreliable, but downright annoying.
