I love playing but its gotten really frustrating. I'm a pretty good player but recently I'm constantly "missing" taps when I'm hitting them perfectly. Of course this means you have to pay to get gems and keep going. I like playing, but something is definitely off with the taps and I see I'm not the only one who's noticed how annoying this is to do, especially to dedicated players. Please fix this!

My only real complaint, especially early on into the game is the number of distractions. Constantly being interrupted so you can wait for a flashy animation of a milestone you just reached or a new song or crate unlock. These are forced so you might have it in mind to play a specific song over again, but before you can do that you gotta sit through the animations which translates to poor UX design.

Beatstar is fun, it's a cool rhythm game and looks sick. However, it is a mobile game, so you have to deal with all the BS that comes with mobile games. That is ads, paywalls, etc. What makes this a lesser competitor to other rhythm games is that if you miss a SINGLE note, you fail the song. The only way to continue? Pay. Unlike other games, where you usually have a health meter and can miss more than one note. If it weren't for the corporate greed this game suffers from, it'd be 5 stars.
