Sorry to say that the app is now totally useless unless you pay for a subscription. A few years ago you could view the conditions 3 days out, then they changed it to 1 day out, and now you don't even get your location, just a random preview, unless you pay up. The prices are not incredibly outrageous, but for an app I won't use all the time (with data that can also be found elsewhere) I don't find it worthwhile. A shame, the extra sky data was nice to have.

I use multiple app tools in stargazing. GTS fits my need very well. The dark-skies map functions very well and makes quite an impact on my selecting where to view from. Living adjacent to a major, coastal, metropolitan area had me losing hours of gazing time while searching for a dark place. The various adjustable settings are a boon to my naked-eye and binocular observing, warning me of higher humidity (haze) conditions. I selected the 1st-level annual plan, which suits my limited budget.

Expensive and the free version is pretty limited. I'm glad I checked it out. There are some nice features, but my main Android astronomy app supplies similar information and its 1 time lifetime payment was less than the yearly cost of this app, so it doesn't make much sense to pay for this one. Shop around. There are alternatives that are as good and far less expensive.
