I've been using Pinterest for over a decade now and it's a great app but there are too many ads. Also, the constant emails of "adult content" is vexing when it doesn't even tell me what pin it is so I can get an idea what is considered adult content vs "art" and the one time it gave me an option, it just sent me to the home page. As another user said, go after the pin or uploader, NOT ME. Not to mention the ads will sometimes have actual adult content. Do you guys even listen? FIX THIS

I have been a huge fan of this app for years, but like everything else, it's been destroyed by ads. The search brings up nothing but shopping options. I'm looking for inspiration, not to buy everything. I've tried hiding the ads, telling them not to show them to me, etc... it improves my feed for about a week and then we're right back to ads, ads, and more ads. It's a shame because it used to be my favorite app.

Pinterest is nothing but ads now. I wish I was joking, but every other pin is an ad. Many other pins are actually links to Amazon products or some other online store. The app is virtually unusable at this point and time. Probably always will be. Now I just use it on my desktop where I run adblock or on Brave, which also has integrated adblock. 2025 Update: AI generated content (including ads) is running rampant on the site.
