I have been playing this game on and off for over a decade. It always keeps me coming back! Whether it's the charming monsters, the fantastic music, the surprisingly hefty (albeit whimsical) lore, or even the unbeatable satisfaction of filling an island with monsters. This game has it all. Though, word of advice, be sure to pay them once - almost like a one-time fee - you do get some stuff for it, and frankly these guys deserve it yeah?

It's a great game, and I highly recommend, but there are a few bad things. The game is about collecting and creating new monsters, and the more monsters you collect, the more they add to the island's song. Some of the songs are surprisingly good! Many of them are very catchy! But there are a bit too many ads for my liking, and you have to pay money to get rid of it. Also, WHY IS GHAZT SO HARD TO BREED?!

My youngest kid LOVES it. I have grown to despise it. Basically once you get the basic setup of the game going with a few monsters etc, you quickly realize that you will need "diamonds" or whatever or a huge amount of coins to do pretty much anything. The amount of coins needed to make purchases, compared to the cost of making tiny amounts of food for monsters and the astronomical amount of food required per feeding only to get set back to level 1 is only a small portion of what pisses me off.
