Smart Quran is the first Quran mobile application that is approved by the Al-Quran Printing Control and Licensing Board, Ministry of Home Affairs Malaysia under the Printing of the Quranic Text Act 1986 (Act 326).

This product was developed in partnership with Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Ministry of Home Affairs Malaysia (MOHA) and Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

The Smart Quran application is FREE for all to use.

Smart Quran consists of mushaf Madinah V2 with Malay and English translations. It has audio of the following reciters:

● Syeikh Abdullah Ibn Ali Basfar
● Syeikh Ali al Huzaifi
● Syeikh Ibrahim al Akhdar
● Syeikh Muhammad Ayyub Ibn Muhammad Yusuf.

Audio can be downloaded page by page based on your favorite reciter.

Alhamdulillah. I've had a few Quran apps before this but this is my best. The writing is clear, the background can be made dark (to reduce glare), to change pages I flip (instead of scrolling down) like normal hard copy. I can download audio if I want and access translation easily too. To mark is easy and I can mark a few places plus it detects 3 places where I last read if I didn't mark where I stop. Alhamdulillah.

I found a bug on the App. If we open a page by using the page search function ("Pergi ke halaman"), the App will crash whenever switch of phone to open another App. And if we lock the phone screen, the App will exit that current page & go back to the page that shows the lost of Surahs. This didn't happen if we open a Surah by selecting from the Surah list.

I have used this app for more than 2 years. It such a good app btw. The interface is very friendly. It's not too fancy and so on. It's easier but some function are unusable for example, I can't play the recitation for the Ayah. I don't know why. I have tried this on other Ayah it's still same. I hope you will fix this issue. Thank you,
