A great update of the classic with some convenience features I don't recall. My only complaint is that the state you're in (bomb or flag) is hidden by your hand. If you're going fast, it's easy to lose track and make a mistake. I wish it was more obvious like the grid turning green (flag) or red (open).

This implementation is superb in all aspects. I'm leaving this comment to refute others' comments stating that guessing is sometimes necessary. I've been playing on the extreme difficulty setting and have never had to guess! The programmers did an amazing job ensuring every puzzle can be solved through pure logic. However, sometimes you need to solve all other parts first and use the number of remaining mines as an additional clue to solve enclosed areas. Perhaps that's what others have missed.

This was a flashback moment when I saw minesweeper, as I remember clicking the mouse on a PC 35 years ago, which may have single-handedly started what ended up being carpal tunnel surgery a few years ago. Seriously though, it's great but it would be nice to have a leaderboard or records to compare with others. The only gripe is my fatfingering leads to more mines being blown up than anything else.
