This objective-driven gameplay encourages teamwork and strategic planning, as players must navigate through lanes filled with defensive structures and enemy minions known as Troopers. The gameplay mechanics in Deadlock are reminiscent of traditional MOBA titles but are presented through a dynamic third-person perspective. Players must farm experience and currency—referred to as Souls—by defeating enemy heroes and minions.
